User name and Password
To login to Blackboard, you will need your user name (UTC ID) and password.
User name
When a student is accepted into UTC, they are assigned a UTC ID (a mixture of letters and numbers) and password.
There are a few ways to locate your UTC ID.
- It is on your Mocs Card (UTC identification card).
- You can login to Blackboard and click Forgot Your Password. This will prompt another page. Put your Social Security number in the box that asks for your UTC ID and also in the Social Security # box. Complete the form with your birth date information. You will then be given your UTC ID and allowed to change your password.
- If you still need help identifying your UTC ID, contact the IT Support Desk at 423-425-4000.
Password
Your password for Blackboard is the same as your password for your UTC email (MocsNet) and for access to the Lupton Library databases. If you change your password for Blackboard at anytime, your password for MocsNet and the Lupton Library databases also changes.
