Enabling Third-Party Cookies in Your Browser
In order for SafeAssign to function for both faculty and students correctly when submitting a SafeAssignment, third-party cookies must be enabled in your browser. Since most browsers enable third-party cookies by default, most users have nothing to worry about. The below documentation shows how to enable third-party cookies in the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 7 (Windows)
- Firefox 3 (Windows/Mac)
- Safari 3 (Mac)
Internet Explorer 7
Click on "Tools" and then "Internet Options." Next, click on the "Privacy" tab and then on the "Advanced" button. If "Override automatic cookie handling" is checked, make sure the "Third-party Cookies" option is set to Accept. Click on OK, and then click on OK again.

Firefox 3
These steps will work on both Windows and Mac versions of Firefox 3. NOTE: Third-party cookies are enabled by default in Firefox 2. Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Options." Next, click on the "Privacy" tab and make sure the "Accept third-party cookies" option is checked under "Cookies." Click on OK.

Safari 3
Click on the "Safari" menu and select "Preferences." Next, click on the "Security" tab and make sure the "Always" option is selected under "Accept cookies." The Preferences window may now be closed.
