Where do I go for help?

If you can not find the help you need on this web site, follow the steps below:

  1. Contact your instructor for problems such as:
  2. You don’t see your class within Blackboard.
    You have a direct question regarding a particular class.
    You have a question regarding an assignment.
    You have a question concerning a grade.

  3. Call the IT Support Help Desk at (423) 425-4000 or visit their web site for assistance with computer questions, including access to UTC Online, the internet, and email. The IT Support Desk is open weekdays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

    The IT Support Desk can help with problems such as:

    You cannot access Blackboard.
    You are experiencing problems with your login or password.
    You require assistance initially preparing your computer for classes.
    You have general Blackboard questions.

    When working with the IT Support Help Desk, it important that you can provide the necessary information about your computer. Before you call, perform a browser check (http://utconline.utc.edu/system_test.php). This browser check will provide the Help Desk associates with information that may assist in determining the problem.

  4. If you are experiencing problems and it is after 8:00 pm, you can also call or visit the UC Student Technology Center in the basement of the University Center (425-4492).
