Windows Internet Explorer Users
If you use Windows Internet Explorer with UTC Online/Blackboard, make sure you use Internet Explorer version 7 or higher; version 6 either will not work or will perform very poorly! Internet Explorer version 8 users may benefit by enabling Compatibility View when accessing UTC Online. UTC Online also recommends you make the following two configuration changes:
  1. Use the "Every time I visit the webpage" cache setting (how to)
  2. Add bb4.utc.edu to Trusted Sites and set this zone's security settings to Low: Tools: Internet Options > Security > select Trusted Sites zone, click Sites and add bb4.utc.edu (make sure "Require server verification" is unchecked), set the "Security level for this zone" to Low, uncheck Enable Protected Mode, and then restart Internet Explorer
