Organizations
Organizations function much like a course. The only major differences are the roles; Students are now Participants and an Instructor is a Leader. The resources provided in the UTC Online help pages are applicable for courses and organizations.
If your UTC organization would like to have a UTC Online organization, have your academic advisor send an email to utconlin@utc.edu requesting that an organization be created. To help expedite the process your email should include the following:
- Name of the organization (as it should appear in UTC Online)
- Name and UTC ID of academic advisor (leader)
- UTC ID of anyone else who should have the role of leader
- This could be a student who has a leadership role in the organization
- UTC ID of all student participants
- This list can be saved as a Micrsoft Word or Excel document
- Participants can be easily added after the organization is created
